3. Measure up water according to the instructions on the rice packet and pour it into the inner bowl.
4. Make sure the rice cooker’s hotplate is completely clean.
5. Place the inner bowl inside the rice cooker and put the lid on.
6. Connect the mains lead first to the rice cooker and then to the wall socket. Press the power switch.
The yellow indicator light will light up and indicate that the keep-warm function (WARM) is activated.
7. Push down the WARM/COOK-switch to start the cooking. The red indicator light (COOK)
lights up.
Note:
The WARM/COOK-switch does not stay pushed down if the inner bowl is incorrectly
placed in the rice cooker.
8. When the rice is ready the cooking will stop automatically. The WARM/COOK-switch returns
to its original position and the red indicator light goes off.
9. Let the rice steam with the lid on for 6–8 minutes.
10. It is quite normal for a little rice to brown on the bottom of the bowl. If a lot of rice is browned,
you should try using more water next time.
11. Turn the product off using the power switch. Disconnect the mains lead from the wall socket
after use.
