• Never use the kettle near naked flames or hot surfaces.
• Clean the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Never use solvents or
strong detergents. Use a mild cleaning agent.
• Never use the kettle to heat any other liquid than water.
• Never touch the kettle whilst it is switched on. Hot steam can
cause burns.
• Never leave the kettle switched on unattended and always
unplug the kettle after use.
• Never use the kettle if it has been dropped or is damaged in
any way.
• The kettle is only intended for normal domestic use.

• Neither the kettle nor the base must be immersed in water.
• Bear in mind that the base and certain parts of the kettle will
remain hot even after the kettle has been switched off.

Ensure that the lid is closed during use and that
there is nothing to prevent the power switch from operating
normally. If the power switch is not free to move or if the lid
is open, the automatic shut-off feature of the kettle will not
function.
