1. Safety
• The device must not be taken apart or modified.
• The components inside the casing carry dangerous live voltage
unprotected. Contact with them can cause a fire or electric shock
• The product is intended exclusively for indoor use.
• Never expose the device to high temperatures, a dusty environment,
strong vibrations, knocks, moisture, or wetness.
• Do not place the device where it could fall into water or any other liquid.
Do not place any objects that contain liquids on the device, e.g.,
a flowerpot or a soft drink bottle.
• Make sure that the connected cables are protected and lie properly so
that they do not get jammed in doors or get stepped upon.
• Disconnect the power supply to the device by pulling the plug from the
mains.
• Make sure that the device’s ventilation apertures are kept open so air can
circulate to ensure cooling.
• Connect the network adapter directly to a mains socket.
Never use an
extension cord, UPS or power surge protection.
• Disconnect the network adapter from the mains immediately if it has been
exposed to liquid or moisture, if the connected cables are damaged, or if
the device is not working normally.
