This product should only be repaired by qualified service technicians.

The product is designed for indoor use only.

Buttons and functions

Front panel

Turning the HDMI switch off

Push and hold any of the buttons [ SELECT OUT 1 ] or [ SELECT OUT 2 ] 
for approx. 3 seconds or push [ ON/OFF ] on the remote to turn the HDMI 
switch off.

Care and maintenance

Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the product. Never use strong 
detergents or solvents.

Troubleshooting guide

No indicator lights up.

Check that the mains adaptor is properly connected and the device is 
turned on. Push [SELECT OUT 1], [SELECT OUT 2] once or [ ON/OFF ] 
on the remote to turn on the device.

No picture is displayed and no audio is heard.

Check that none of the cables are damaged and that they are all 
properly connected.

The picture is seen but no audio is heard.

Check that the DVD player or TV is set to the DVI position.

• 

Use only HDMI cables of newer than version 1.1.

• 

Turn off the device and restart it to reactivate the input.

The HDMI switch does not react to the remote control.

• 

Check the battery and replace it if necessary.

• 

Make sure that there is no interference with the remote control’s 
signals and the distance is not too great between the remote control 
and the HDMI switch.

It is impossible to select an input using [ SELECT OUT ] 1 or 2.

• 

Check that the button can be properly depressed.

• 

Cut the power by unplugging the adaptor shortly and then turn on 
the device again.

This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. 
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.

Installation

1.  Connect your HDMI cables (sold separately) between the outputs on 

the source units (e.g. DVD players or digital receivers) and the inputs 
marked “HDMI IN 1–4” on the HDMI switch.

2.  Connect an HDMI cable between the outputs ”HDMI OUT 1” 

on the HDMI switch and the TV’s HDMI input. Another output is 
available if needed. Use another HDMI cable and connect it between 
”HDMI OUT 2” and a projector or another monitor, for example. 

Handy hint: 

Try to keep track of which device is connected to which 

input/output.

3.  Connect the included adaptor plug to the power connection marked 

“5V 1A” on the switch and insert the mains plug into a wall socket.

4.  Push any of the buttons [SELECT OUT 1] or [SELECT OUT 2] to turn 

on the selected device.

Operation

Choosing an input device for HDMI OUT 1

1.  Turn on the device (e.g. TV) that you have connected to 

the “HDMI OUT 1” output and choose HDMI as the input on your TV 
(See your TV’s instruction manual).

2.  Make sure the input device you have connected (DVD player, etc.) 

is turned on.

3.  Push [ SELECT OUT 1 ] on the HDMI switch until you have selected 

the chosen input for viewing. The indicator light on the top row 
shows which input is activated for the ”HDMI OUT 1” output. 
Use the remote to select inputs by using the following buttons, 
[ setA ]  or  [ IN1 ]  to  [ IN4 ].

Choosing an input device for HDMI OUT 2

1.  Turn on the device (e.g. TV) that you have connected to 

the “HDMI OUT 2” output and choose HDMI as the input on your TV 
(See your TV’s instruction manual).

2.  Make sure the input device you have connected (DVD player, etc.) 

is turned on.

3.  Push [ SELECT OUT 2 ] on the HDMI switch until you have 

selected the chosen input you want to watch. The indicator 
light on the bottom row shows which input is activated for 
the ”HDMI OUT 2” output.You can also use the remote to select 
inputs by using the following buttons, [ setB ] or [ IN1 ] to [ IN4 ].
