1. Twist the lid on the battery cover
anticlockwise (see marking) and remove it.

The trimmer
won’t start.
• Check that the battery is not flat. Replace the battery.
• Is the battery inserted correctly? The positive terminal (+)
should be inserted first.
• The blade in the cutting head could be blocked. Carefully
remove the cutting head and clean all the parts with
the included brush.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that the product should not be disposed of
with general household waste. This applies throughout the entire EU.
In order to prevent any harm to the environment or health hazards
caused by incorrect waste disposal, the product must be handed in
for recycling so that the material can be disposed of in a responsible
manner. When recycling your product, take it to your local collection
facility or contact the place of purchase. They will ensure that
the product is disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.

Care and maintenance
• Clean the exterior of the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild
cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• After use, twist the cutting head anticlockwise (see marking) and remove it from
the trimmer. Clean the trimmer and the cutting head using the included brush.
3. Refit the lid and twist it to lock it in place
(see marking).

(sold separately). Make sure that

5. Switch the trimmer on/off using
[ ON/OFF ].
• Whenever the timer is not to be used for an extended period, the battery
should be removed and stored in a dry, dust-free environment, out of
children’s reach.
