Turning the clock radio on/off
1. Plug the mains adaptor into a wall socket and then into the clock radio’s power
socket (11).
2. Set the [ OFF/ON ] (10) switch to the
ON
position. The display will come on after
a few seconds with a low backlight level (standby mode).
3. Press [ POWER/MODE ]. The display will light and the clock radio will then come on
in radio mode.
4. Hold in [ POWER/MODE ] until the display turns off and goes back into standby mode.
Setting the clock
1. In
standby
mode (low level backlit display) press [ MENU/

display will begin flashing.
2. Press [

] to set the hours.
3. Press [ MENU/

ll ] again. The minutes display will begin flashing.
4. Press [

▲
] to set the minutes. If no button is pressed within 5 seconds,
all settings will be saved and the clock radio will return to standby mode.
Note:
When your iPod/iPhone is connected to the clock radio the time will synchronize
automatically.
Setting the alarm
Alarm 1
1. In
standby
mode (low level backlit display) press [ VOL– ]. “BUZZER” (audio signal)
flashes in the display.
2. Press [

▲
] to select the type of alarm,
BUZZER
,
RADIO
or
iPod/iPhone
.
3. Press [ VOL– ] again. The hours display will begin to flash.
4. Press [
▼
][
▲
] to set the hours.
5. Press [ VOL– ] again. The minutes display will begin to flash.
6. Press [
▼
][
▲
] to set the minutes. If no button is pressed within 5 seconds,
all settings will be saved and alarm 1 will be activated.
Alarm 2
In
standby
mode (low level backlit display) press [ VOL+ ]. “BUZZER” (audio signal)
flashes in the display. Use the same procedure for inputting settings as described
above for alarm 1.
Shutting off the alarm/snooze
• To deactivate alarms 1 and 2 when in standby mode press [ VOL- ] or [ VOL+ ]
respectively.
• To put alarm 1 or 2 into snooze when it sounds: Press [ Snooze ] (9 min snooze).
The snooze function can be re-activated repeatedly within a 1-hour time frame
after which it will automatically deactivate and shut off for that day.
• To stop the alarm sounding once it has been triggered, press [ POWER/MODE ].
The alarm will then sound again after 24 hours.
