Emptying the water tank
1. Unplug the mains lead from the wall socket.
2. Grip the water tank by the handles (one
on each side) and pull it forwards.
3. Empty the water out of the water tank
and then refit it into the dehumidifier. The
dehumidifier will restart automatically
once the water tank has been refitted if it
was shut off automatically.
Automatic defrost function
• The dehumidifier is equipped with an automatic defrost feature. Frost can build up
on some components inside the dehumidifier under certain conditions. The defrost
function removes this frost.
• The dehumidifier compressor will shut off when the defrost function is activated and
the fan continues to run until the frost has disappeared.
• A purling sound might be heard from the dehumidifier during defrosting, this is normal.
• No settings can or need to be made for the defrost function.
Mesh filter
Remove the grille and mesh
filter (7) and vacuum clean it
carefully every 14th day.
Operation using a drain hose,
Cont
(continuous operation mode)
When the dehumidifier is used in an environment with high humidity, the water tank
will need emptying often. In such circumstances, it could be more practical to connect
a drain hose.
1. Remove the rubber plug from the hose connector (8)
and connect a drain hose with a 13.5 mm bore (sold
separately). Make sure that the drain hose is secure
and seal the connection to prevent leakage.
2. The other end of the drain hose should be inserted
into a drain which is lower than the drain hose
connection on the dehumidifier.
