Convection Heater

Safety
Warning
The product will become very hot during use and could cause burns. Special care must be
taken if the product is used in the same room as children, aged or infirm persons.
Connecting to the mains
• The product should only be connected to a 230 V, 50 Hz electrical outlet.
• Inspect the mains lead regularly for signs of damage. Never use the product if the mains lead
or plug is damaged.
• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent the risk of electric shock or
fire and should only be carried out by the manufacturer, qualified service facility or qualified
technician.
• The product must never be installed directly beneath an electrical wall socket outlet.
• Make sure that the mains lead does not come into contact with the housing when the
product is switched on.
• The product must never be used with a timer or other equipment which can turn the power on
automatically. Failure to follow this warning could result in overheating and create a fire hazard.
Child safety
• Never let children play with the product.
• The product may be used by children aged 8 or over under adult supervision. The product
may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or persons
with a lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise their safety, provided they
have been instructed in the safe operation of the product and understand the hazards involved.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without adult supervision.
• The product must be kept out of reach of children under 3 years of age unless they are
under constant supervision.
• Children between the ages of 3 and 8 years must only switch the product on/off provided
that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
• Children between the ages of 3 and 8 years must not plug in, regulate, clean or perform user
maintenance on the product.
• Never insert any foreign objects inside the housing of the product.
