Random activation
The time switch can be randomly activated.
1. Set the time switch to AUTO ON or AUTO OFF using the arrow keys (3).
2. Press (4) to activate or deactivate. The RND symbol shows on the bottom of the
display when the random function is active.
3. The time switch is now programmed to activate and deactivate automatically.
Countdown Timer
The countdown function activates or deactivates the time switch depending on the
setting before or after the activation of the countdown function.
Using the countdown timer
1. Set the time switch in the OFF position for activation after the countdown or in
the ON position for deactivation after the countdown. Choose the setting with
the arrow key (3). The chosen function is shown on the bottom of the display.
2. Press the MENU (2) key twice. The hour symbol begins to flash and the CTD
symbol shows on the bottom of the display.
3. Set the hour with the arrow keys (3) and (4). Confirm by pressing OK (1).
4. Set the minutes with the arrow keys (3) and (4). Confirm by pressing OK (1).
5. Set the seconds with the arrow keys (3) and (4). Confirm by pressing OK (1).
6. The countdown starts when the CTD symbol flashes.
7. When the countdown reaches 0:00 it activates or deactivates the time switch
depending on the setting chosen in step 1.
Troubleshooting Guide
The LCD display has frozen and the buttons don’t respond.
• Press the reset key (5) to reset the time switch.
The time switch does not perform the programmed ON/OFF operations.
• Make sure the timer function is activated. AUTO ON or AUTO OFF shows on
the display.
