Weighing
Note:
Flour is only measured in cups. 1 cup = 241 ml.
1. Placed the kitchen scale on a firm, flat surface.
2. If the measuring jug is to be used, place the jug onto the scale.
3. Press [ ON/OFF, ZERO ] to switch the kitchen scale on, the scale will start in
weighing mode.
4. Wait until “0” is displayed. Place the object to be weighed onto the scale or in
the jug and read the weight reading.
Measuring the volume of milk (in ml)
1. Place the kitchen scale on a firm, flat surface.
2. Place the measuring jug onto the scale.
3. Press [ ON/OFF, ZERO ] to switch the kitchen scale on, the scale will start in
weighing mode.
4. Wait until “0” is displayed. Press [ MODE ] until the arrow symbol indicates that
“MILK” is selected.
5. Press [ UNIT ] to select
ml
as the unit of measurement.
6. Pour milk into the measuring jug.
7. Read the volume on the display.
Tare function
The tare function enables you to measure several ingredients together in the measuring
jug at the same time without having to empty the jug between measurements.
1. Add the first ingredient until the correct amount is shown on the display.
2. Leave the first ingredient in the jug and press [ ON/OFF, ZERO ]. The scale will be
reset to zero.
3. Add the next ingredient until the correct amount is shown on the display.
Press [ ON/OFF,ZERO ]. The scale will once again be set to zero.
4. Add the next ingredient and so on, until all the ingredients have been weighed.
Changing the unit of weight
Press [ UNIT ] to toggle the unit between

(grams) and
lb:oz
(pounds/ounces).
Changing the unit of volume
Press [ UNIT ] to toggle between
ml

fl oz
and
cups
.
Error/Warning messages
1. Replace the battery.
2. Overload - the scale’s weight capacity (3 kg) has
been exceeded. Remove the load from the scale to
prevent damage.
