6. Getting started
Quick guide
1. Connect the speakers to SPEAKER (2), left speaker to (L) and right speaker to (R). Connect the black leads
to the black connections and the transparent leads to the red connections on the stereo. Place the speakers
as wide apart as possible to achieve the best stereo effect.
2. Place the speakers onto their stands or mount them on the wall. Mount speakers onto the stands (1), (3)
as follows:
3. Connect the plug to a power point and unwind the FM aerial (32).
4. Insert the batteries into the remote control (batteries not included).
5. Press the power switch (26) (40) to turn on the device.
6. Select the desired function with [FUNCTION] button (14) (48).
6.1 CD player
1. Push [FUNCTION] (14) (48) until CD shows on the display.
2. Press [OPEN/CLOSE] (18) to close the CD tray.
3. Insert a CD or CD with MP3 files with the label facing upwards.
4. Press [

5. Adjust the volume using [VOL+] (16) (58) and [VOL–] (17) (59).

9. Press [M/S/MENU/id3] (41) or [MONO/ST/id3/ENTER] (13) during playback to display
the track’s ID3 info (song title, etc.)
6.2 Radio
1. Press [FUNCTION] (14) (48) until TUNER shows on the display.
2. Press [TUNER/BAND] (15) (46) to select FM or AM (medium wave).
3. Press and release [NEXT TUNE UP] (11) (55) to search for a station manually going forwards [BACK/TUNE DOWN]
(9) (56) to manually search backwards.
4. Depress [NEXT TUNE UP] (2) (55) to automatically search for a station going forwards or [BACK/TUNE DOWN] (9)
(56) to automatically search backwards. The search stops automatically when a station has been found.
5. Adjust the volume using [VOL+] (16) (58) and [VOL–] (17) (59).
A. Press the desk stands into the notches on
the back of the speakers and main unit.
B. Push the stand upwards until
it clicks into place.
