Operating instructions
Placement
• Place the fan heater on a hard and level surface.
• Do not place the fan heater in the bathroom, laundry room, or in the near vicinity of
the bath or shower.
• Place the fan heater some distance from furniture, curtains or other easily
flammable objects. Make sure that fan heater is at least 15 cm from walls or any
other objects.
• Do not use the fan heater in damp or dusty environments.
• Never place the fan heater on soft surfaces such as beds, blankets, thick rugs, etc.
Thermostat
With the fan heater turned on to one of the heat settings:
1. Turn the thermostat control all the way to the right to the max setting.
2. Once the desired room temperature is reached, slowly turn back the control until
a click is heard. The fan heater will stop and indicator light will turn off. The desired
room temperature setting is now set.
3. No further adjustment is required. The fan heater will then automatically turn on
once the temperature goes below the setting and turn off once the set temperature
is reached. This maintains the room at a steady temperature.
Tip-over switch
The tip-over switch is found at the bottom of the fan heater and will shut off the fan
automatically should it tip over.
Overheating protection
1. The fan heater is fitted with a safety cut-off switch that is triggered when
the appliance gets too hot.
2. If the safety switch is tripped, unplug the mains lead and let the fan heater cool for
at least 10 min.
3. You can then plug the fan heater back into the mains and start it again.
Care and maintenance
Make sure the fan heater is off, pull out the plug and let it cool before cleaning.
Clean the fan heater using a lightly moistened cloth. Only use mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
