8. When required, the detergent pick up hose should be connected to the spigot
adjacent to the high pressure hose connector.
9. Check the engine fuel and oil lvels,(Refer to oil levels in the engine handbook,
top up if necessary.
Operation
1. Turn the water supply ON fully at the mains.
2. Release the safety catch on the lance trigger (OFF), squeeze
the trigger to expel any air in the system.
Water will trickle from the end of the lance
when the air is expelled.
3. Start the engine, REFER TO
THE ENGINE HANDBOOK.
Move the speed control lever
to MAX.
NOTE: If you experience starting
difficulties, squeeze the trigger, and
keep it squeezed, whilst trying to start the engine,
this will relieve pressure in the system, and
provide for easier starting.
4. Pull the nozzle towards you to set the
lance at high pressure, and away from
you to set it at low pressure. (see Fig. 4).
NOTE: When sprying detergents etc, always use the low pressure setting.
5. By twisting the nozzle as shown in Fig. 5, you can select either a fan spray or a
narrow jet.

Check there are no leaks in the system/connections. Any leaks should be rectified before
continuing.
