SAFETY

1. Read, study, understand and follow all product warnings/cautions and

instructions before use. Failure to do so may result in injury and/or property
damage.

2. ALWAYS load or unload on a solid, level, well lit surface.

3. Make sure that the truck or trailer is in a locked position. (Make sure parking

brakes are on). Use wheel chocks. If the truck or trailer moves forward while
loading or unloading, the ramps may slip off the vehicle causing the load
to fall.

4. DO NOT overload the ramps.

• As a loading ramp -  Maximum capacity single =  250kg, pair =  500kg. All

loads must be evenly distributed.

• As a vehicle ramp -  Maximum capacity single =  800kg, pair =  1600kg.

All loads must be evenly distributed.

5. Do not exceed the rated capacity of the tailgate - see your vehicle

owner's manual.

6. The maximum height of the tailgate that the ramp attaches to is 76cm.

7. Always use the safety straps to securely fasten the ramps to the vehicle to

prevent the ramp slipping off the tailgate.

8. Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.

9. Inspect the ramps before each use. Check fasteners for tightness and

replace any worn or damaged parts. Replace the safety strap if the
webbing is frayed or worn.

10. Ramp surfaces must be clean, dry and free from oil, grease and water.

11. Any ramp that appears to be damaged in any way, is found to be worn, or

operates abnormally MUST BE REMOVED FROM SERVICE IMMEDIATELY UNTIL
REPAIRED.

12. If the ramps are believed to have been subjected to abnormal load or

stress they MUST BE REMOVED FROM SERVICE IMMEDIATELY UNTIL FULLY
INSPECTED FOR DAMAGE.

13. DO NOT modify the ramps in any way.

14. Carefully roll or winch equipment up or down the ramps. Never drive or ride

on your equipment while loading or unloading.

15. Make sure the ramps are aligned with the wheels of the equipment being

loaded or unloaded.

16. DO NOT put any tools or other equipment beneath the ramps.

17. Keep hands, feet, etc away from the ramps. DO NOT reach or get beneath

either ramp.
