CHARGING
ONLY use the charging adapters supplied with the lamp.
AC Charger
Ensure the lamp is switched OFF.
Insert the small plug of mains adapter into the DC 12v socket on the back of the lamp.
Plug the adapter into a suitable 230vac socket and switch on.
The red LED should illuminate after a couple of seconds, if the red LED does not illuminate, operate
the lamp ON/OFF switch once only, the LED should now light up. Battery is now charging.
DO NOT CHARGE FOR MORE THAN 48 HOURS OTHERWISE DAMAGE TO THE CHARGER
AND OR THE LAMP MAY OCCUR.
12v DC CHARGING CORD
Ensure the lamp is turned OFF, failure to do so will result in the fuse link in the plug to blow.
Replacement fuses are available from your nearest Clarke dealer.
Insert the small plug of the 12 volt DC charging cord into the DC 12v socket on the back of the
lamp.
Plug the other end into the cigarette lighter socket. The red LED should illuminate after a couple of
seconds, if the red LED does not light up, disconnect the 12 volt Dc charging cord, check and
replace the 3amp fuse in the large plug of the 12 volt DC charging cord. Operate the lamp ON/Off
switch once only, reconnect the charging cord, the red LED should now illuminate.
NOTE: A fully discharged battery takes approximately 6 hours from AC power and 2.5 hours from DC
power.
TESTING BATTERY POWER
To check the amount of energy in the battery, ensure the lamp is switched OFF, then simply press
and hold the Batt button,
RESULTS
Red, Amber & Green LEDs illuminated .........= Full charge
Red & Amber LEDs illuminated ......................= Partial charge
Red Led illuminated ........................................= Flat battery requiring recharging

MAP READING
Ensure the main spot lamp is off, press the map button, the map
reading light will illuminate.
CLEANING
Never use harmful chemicals or abrasives, wipe over with a
damp cloth only.
Alcohol or glass cleaner may be used to clean the lens.
BATTERY DISPOSAL
Always dispose of rechargeable batteries according to local
authority regulations.
