using your binoculars.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
NEVER look directly at the sun with binoculars,
as by doing so could lead to permanent loss of
vision.
NEVER place the binoculars in a position where
the sun can be directed through the lenses, Fire
may result as a consequence.

Hold the binoculars in the normal viewing posi-
tion and move the unit slowly as shown in the
figure below until the field of view becomes a
single circle.

A - Zoom Lever
B - Roll down eyecups.
C - Focusing wheel.
D - Left eyepiece with diopter scale (+
-).
E - Eyecup rolled down.

While looking through the right eyepiece (with
your right eye), rotate the focus wheel in both
directions, until the subject is in focus
Adjusting the right eyepiece
While looking through the left eyepiece (with
your left eye), rotate the left lens until the
same subject is in focus.
Again note the reading on the diopter scale
for future use.
Using both eyes, rotate the focus wheel until
the subject is in optimum focus.

NOTE On both models, the eyecups can be rolled down for users wearing glasses.
TAKING CARE OF YOUR BINOCULARS
Remove any dust from the lenses with a blower and/or a soft lens brush which can be purchased
from any camera shop. The lenses can be cleaned using approved lens cleaning solution and a
soft lens cloth.
The body can be wiped over with a soft damp cloth, DO NOT use any chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
When the binoculars are not to be used for long periods, store them in a well ventilated location,
avoiding high temperatures and humidity.
Avoid strong impacts caused by bumping or dropping the binoculars.
DO NOT apply excessive force when using the binoculars.
