Safety Instructions
Before you use this amplifier, please read the
following safety instructions. Please adhere to
them strictly to avoid the risk of fire, electric
shocks and personal injuries:
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Make note of the warnings and instructions
on the product.
- Remove the plug of the telephone from the
wall socket before you clean the amplifier.
- Do not use a liquid cleaning detergent or
spray can, only a damp cloth.
- Do not use the telephone with the amplifier
near water.
- Use the telephone flex and batteries as
indicated in this instruction manual. Take
empty batteries to a collection point for
chemical waste.
- Never throw batteries into a fire; they
might explode.
The Clarity™ EHA40 Amplifier complies
with the following EC Directives:
- 73/23/EEC Low Voltage Directive.
- 89/336/EEC Electromagnetic
Compatibility Directive.
- 93/42/EEC Medical Devices Directive (class 1).
Service and warranty
Check the contents of the package
Check that the package contains all ilustrated
products. If this is not the case, contact the retailer
where you bought this amplifier.
Warranty
• The following 2 year warranty and service
information applies only to product purchased and
used in the countries listed on page 61 You may
also contact your local retail dealer for warranty
information in your country.
• Clarity™ guarantees the satisfactory condition of
the equipment with regard to manufacturing and
material defects for 2 years from the date of
purchase. (Please keep your original receipt safely).
• This product must be installed and used in
accordance with the instructions contained in this
User Guide, and serviced at an approved
Plantronics Service Centre. Failure to comply with
these conditions may render the warranty invalid.
2 Year Warranty and Repair Service
• Products under warranty are replaced free of charge.
• All units serviced to full production standards using
original factory parts.
