How satellite radio works
SIRIUS Satellite
Radio company in
New York City
Over 120 channels of radio
content bounce off the
network of satellites that
encircle the earth.
Satellite
N.I.C.E.
To take advantage of SIRIUS satellite
radio, you need Clarion’s NAVSIR
SIRIUS Satellite Radio interface and
antenna. The interface plugs into the
EXT. I/O port on the back of the N.I.C.E.
The antenna receives SIRIUS signals
anywhere in the continental United
States provided no obvious satellite
signal obstructions are in the way.
Obstructions include: nearby buildings,
high terrain, parking garages and
tunnels.
The receiver decodes the
information and sends it
to your N.I.C.E.
