[Power Save Feature]

[Normal Time Display]

When power generation
once again begins when
light shines on the solar
cell

When power generation stops
due to light not shining on the
solar cell continuously for 30
minutes or more

4. Functions Unique to Solar-Powered Watches

When the watch becomes insufficiently charged, the following warning features
will be activated to inform the wearer that the watch is insufficiently charged.

[Insufficient Charging

Warning Feature]

The second hand switches
from 1-second interval
movement to 2-second
interval movement

[Stopped]

The second hand rapidly
advances to the 12:00
position and stops

If insufficiently
charged

If charged

If watch is continued
to be used without
charging

The watch hands begin to move when the watch is charged
by exposing to light.
1. If the watch has stopped as a result of being insufficiently
charged, it  takes at least 30 minutes for the watch to switch
to the normal time display even if exposed to light.  Continue
charging until the second hand begins to move.

Time is incorrect as a result
of the watch having stopped
due to being insufficiently
charged.  Sufficiently charge
the watch and set the time
before use.
