a. Model with moon age scale
1. Determine the moon age for the day.
Look in a newspaper to find out the moon age for the day, and then set the moon shape
while referring to "How to see the moon age"
shown in the right.
2. Pull the crown out one 'step' to position

3. Rotate the crown to turn the moon shape
clockwise, and then set the center of
the moon to 4.4 on the moon age scale.
(Example: for moon age 4.4)
b. Model without moon age scale
1. Determine the moon age for the day.
Look in a newspaper to find out the moon age for the day, and then set the moon
shape while referring to "How to see the moon age" shown in the right.
2. Pull the crown out one 'step' to position

3. Rotate the crown referring to “How to see the moon age” so that you can set
the moon shape to the closest moon age (0, 7, 15, or 22).
