To create a user-specified identifier for an IP SLA operation, use the

command in the appropriate

configuration mode. To unset the tag string, use the

Usage Guidelines

If the

tag

command is used in IP SLA operation mode, it configures the user-defined tag string for the specific

operation being configured. If the

tag

command is used in IP SLA MPLS LSP monitor mode, it configures

the user-defined tag string for all operations associated with the monitored provider edge (PE) routers. This
configuration is inherited by all LSP operations that are created automatically.
