Chapter 1 Overview
Port Adapter Slot Locations by Platform
Cisco 7609 routers have eight slots for port adapters. The slots are numbered from right to left. You can
place the port adapters in any of the FlexWAN module slots (slots 2 through 9). Slots 1 is always reserved
for the supervisor engine.
