Checking the Configuration
To set the interface into network line loopback mode, which loops the data back toward the network
(before the framer), use the loopback network line command as follows:
Router#
configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router(config)#
interface serial 10/0/0
router(config-if)#
loopback network line
To set the interface into network payload loopback mode, which loops just the payload data back toward
the network at the E3 framer, use the loopback network payload command as follows:
Router#
configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
router(config)#
interface serial 10/0/0
router(config-if)#
loopback network payload
