Checking the Configuration
Using the show interfaces Command
The show interfaces command displays status information (including the physical slot and interface
address) for the interfaces you specify. The example that follows specifies an ATM interface.
For complete descriptions of interface subcommands and the configuration options available for VIP2
interfaces, refer to the publications listed in the “Related Documentation” section on page vi.

Cisco 7200 Series Routers
The following example of the show interfaces serial port adapter slot number/interface port
number:channel-group command shows all of the information specific to the second 2CE1 interface port
(interface port 1) in port adapter slot 1, channel group 0:
