Monitoring Processes and CPUs
There are features in both CLI and Device Manager for monitoring switch processes and CPU status and
utilization.

Viewing Running Processes on Device Manager
Choose
Admin > Running Processes
on Device Manager to view information about the processes
currently running on a switch. The Running Processes dialog box (See
Figure B-1
.)
The dialog display includes:
•
Process ID
•
The name associated with this process
•
The sum of all dynamically allocated memory that this process has received from the system; this
includes memory that may have been returned to the system
•
The amount of CPU time the process has used, in microseconds
