Installing the Router in a Rack
Caution
To prevent damage to the chassis, never attempt to lift or tilt the chassis by holding it by the plastic panel
on the front. Always hold the chassis by the sides of the metal body.
Note
Allow at least one rack unit of vertical space above the router.
Rack-Mounting the Chassis
Cisco 2010 CGR can be installed in 19-inch (48.26-cm) standard rack.
You can mount the router in the following ways:
•
Power supply side mounting—Brackets attached at the power supply side of the chassis with the
power supply side facing forward.
•
Cable side mounting—Brackets attached at the cable side of the chassis with the cable side facing
forward.

Attaching Rack-Mount Brackets to Cisco 2010 CGR Routers
For the Cisco 2010 CGR routers, use four of the supplied number-8 Phillips flat-head screws to attach
the long side of each bracket to the router.
