Power Management
SPAs and SIPs consume chassis power; therefore, make sure the chassis is within the power budget on
the Cisco 10000 series router.
shows the maximum power consumption, in watts, for the SIP
and SPAs.
Note
There are no power consumption restrictions on the types of SPAs inserted in a Cisco 10000 SIP-600, or
on the number of SIPs installed in a chassis (up to the maximum of 4 SIPs).
