Preparing for use

Assembling the Instrument

Legs

Carefully remove the microphone unit from the transit case. The unit is secured
by two knurled bolts.

Remove the tripod leg carrier from the mast, and unscrew the legs from the
carrier.

Attach the tripod legs to the base unit. Ensure that the legs are inserted correctly
before tightening.

The legs of the tripod unit can be adjusted to accommodate uneven ground.
