Downloading Files
1. Make a directory called "TFTPROOT" on C:\
2. Use a computer that has an Internet connection and download the files specified in "D. Software"
to the directory made in step 1.
3. Disconnect the Ethernet cable if using Wired Ethernet. Plug in the Ethernet cross-over cable into
the computer's Ethernet port.
Windows PC Ethernet Setup
1. Go to
Control Panel
, click on
Network Connections
. Click on the Ethernet port icon representing
the RJ45 port on the computer. In the scroll box, go to the end and double click on the item called
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
.
2. Under the
General
tab, enable
Use the following IP address
and configure per the picture below.
When done, click on
OK
and then
OK
again for changes to take effect.
Note:
The IP address can be any address you chose, just make sure it matches the IP address you use in the fconfig step below.
