Straps in fabric, leather and alligator or python skin
Avoid all contact with water (baths, showers etc) as well as the direct exposure to the sun’s
rays over a longer period of time. Ultra Violet rays can alter the colors of the leather strap.
Despite good care and attention, leather is a natural, living material and its color will fade a
little over time. Avoid contact with chemical products (solvents, detergents, cosmetics, etc.)
They may damage the bracelet and the water-resistance gaskets.
Your watch, the case and the watch glass
- Avoid to keep the watch together with others watches, for it could cause scratches in the
glass.
- Do not directly expose the watch to the sun’s rays over a longer period of time, because the
temperature of the watch might rise above 60°C (140°F). This risks damaging the movement
and the gaskets. It can affect the water resistance of your watch. Prolon ged exposure to Ultra
Violet rays can alter the colors of some parts (leather strap, dial etc.).
- Avoid all violent shocks such as dropping the watch. Apart from damaging its appea rance
this can cause premature wear in materials and components which may affect the perfor-
mance of the watch.
- Never ever wear the watch when you dive into water. The impact with water produces a
pressure which surpasses the impermeability of your watch by far and can cause damages.
