Step 4:
Installation of the footrest holder (28) at the connecting tubes (12) with
carriage bolt (27), washers (29) and cap nut (30).
1.
Push the footrest holder (28R) at the connecting tubes (12R) and adjust
the holes in the tubes so that they are aligned.
2.
Push the carriage bolt (27) through the holes and tighten the footrest
holder (28R) at connection tube (12R) with washers (29) and cap nut (30)
fi rmly. (This connection point has to move easily. So please don’t tighten
the screw too much.)
3.
Install the left footrest holder (28L) incl. all additionally required parts on
the left hand side of the machine as described in 1. – 2.
Step 5:
Installation of the footrest holder (28R) and the left footrest holder (28L)
with the connecting tubes (12) to the pedal crank and the support (81)
with the spring washers (62), the washer (63) and the screws (61).
1.
Place the preassembled unit of the right footrest holder (28R) and one
connecting tube (41) at the right hand side of the main frame (45).
(Note: Right is specifi ed as viewed standing on the machine during
training.)
2.
Push the connecting tube (12R) onto the shaft (64) of the support (81).
Put on the screw (61) a spring washer (62) and a washer (63) and screw it
tighten fi rmly.
3.
Put the foot pedal holder (28R) at the pedal axle (22R) and tighten
them with spacer (82), washer (62) and screw (34) fi rmly.
4.
Install the left footrest holder (28L) incl. all additionally required
parts on the left hand side of the machine as described in 1. – 3.
5.
Now tighten the screws (80) of support (81) fi rmly. Push the plastic cover
(76) and rubber (77) into the right position of chain cover (18).
Step 3:
Installation of the handgrip bars (6) on the connecting tubes (12) with
carriage bolt (80), washers (10) and spring washers (79).
1.
Push the handgrip bars (6) onto the connecting tubes (12) and adjust the
holes in the tubes so that they are aligned.
(Note: the handgrip bars must be aligned after assembly so that the upper
ends are inclined outwards (away from the support (81)).
2.
Push the carriage bolt (80) through the holes and tighten the handgrip
bars (6) with washers (10) and spring washers (79) fi rmly.
