5.2 Replacement Procedures
5.2.1 Tools Required for Servicing the Projector
• Phillips Screwdrivers - #1 and #2
• Jewelers #1 Phillips Screwdriver
• 90 ° Angle Screwdriver
• Side Cutters
• Socket Screwdriver
5.2.2 Servicing Guidelines
NOTE:

• Always power down and disconnect power sources prior to servicing.
• Allow the unit to cool for a minimum of 10 minutes.
• Follow all service safety warnings and guidelines. See 5.1 Safety Warnings and Guidelines .
• Always read and understand all instructions before starting the procedure.
• When re-installing a module, follow “removal” instructions in reverse unless otherwise indicated.
5.2.3 Lens Assembly
Replacement Time: 5 minutes
Procedure:
NOTE:
These steps apply regardless of lens model installed. Make sure the lens is centered before removal.
Failure to do so will make lens removal extremely difficult.
1. Open lens top cover (pull cover towards front of projector and lift).
2. Hold lens in place and pull latch up to release as shown in Figure 5-1 .
3. Pull lens out.
NOTICE:
Remove with care to avoid damage to FLC adaptor.
4. Install desired lens.
