Hot Swap Procedure Timing
The hot swap procedure must be completed in three minutes or the hot swap command is canceled

when hot and may explode, causing personal injury or death and/or property damage.
Allow the lamp to cool completely before handling.
• Always wear manufacturer approved protective safety clothing (gloves, jacket, face
shield) whenever the lamp door is open or when handling the lamp. Only qualified
technicians should install projector lamps.
• If the lamp is blown out, do not perform this procedure.
Failure to comply with these safety precautions could result in death or serious injury.
• Possibly hazardous optical radiation emitted from this product. (Risk group 3)
• Thermal radiation emitted from this product may cause burns. (Risk group 3)
• Do not insert your hand or tools into the lamp house while the lamp is removed.
Do not look straight into the ignited lamp or strongly lighted portion after the lamp is
removed. Failure to comply with this safety precaution might cause decreased vision or loss
of sight.
