Ignition
1. Turn the switch from position [0] to [1], to start the
ignition in the control burner.
2. Keep the switch in that position for approx. 10-20
seconds until the ignition indicator lamp (L) turns red.
3. Turn the switch (K) to position [2] and then directly to
position [3]. A soft noise should be heard when the
ignition takes place in the main burner.
4. Repeat from step 1 if ignition doesn’t begin in the
main burner.
5. The heater shuts down when the switch is in position
[0].
Note! It is not possible to adjust the heater effect.
Number key for the ignition switch
1 = ignition
2 = control burner
3 = main burner
0 = stop
Attention!
If there’s air in the heat exchange when the heaters main burner is started
then the circulation won’t start properly. The water will then warm very quickly and the
thermostat will cut the gas flow. This can be averted by “pumping” the lower pipe when
the burner is started.
If the thermostat has disenaged because the water in the hot tub is warm the heaters main
burner cannot be restarted until the water has cooled enough that the thermostat will
engage again.
WINTER USE
If there is a risk of freezing, the heater must be emptied of water after use. Self-
circulation stops when the heater is turned off and the small amount of water remaining
inside the heater can easily freeze and damage the heat exchanger if undrained. If water
is to be left in the tub, make sure that the heating pipes can still be closed and emptied so
that the heater itself can be drained. Depending on how it has been arranged it still can
be necessary to insulate the valves and the connection pipes. If the heater is correctly
installed it will drain itself when the tub is emptied.
