Operating Instructions

  Read the ENTIRE ImpORTANT SAFETY INFORmATION section at the beginning of this 

manual including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.

Tool Set Up

TO pREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROm 

ACCIDENTAL OpERATION: 

Turn the power Switch of the tool off and 

unplug the tool from its electrical outlet before 

adjusting tool or installing accessories.

Installing the Blade

1.  Open the Transparent Guard.

2.  Rotate and hold the lever of the Blade Clamp 

Assembly clockwise as far as it will go.

3.  If a Blade is already installed, pull the 

old Blade out of the Clamp.

4.  Slide the new blade (sold separately) all the way 

into the Blade Clamp opening with the teeth 

pointing forward and the back of the Blade pressed 

against the center recess of the Guide Wheel. 

5.  Release the Blade Clamp Lever.

6.  Pull the blade straight down with a gloved hand 

to check that the blade is secured in place.

7.  Close the Transparent Guard.

Angle Adjustment Lever

1.  Pull the Angle Adjustment Lever 

out to loosen the Baseplate.

2.  Pull the Baseplate out and tilt it to the desired 

angle between 0

°

 and 45

°

 to the right or left.

3.  Release the Baseplate, checking that the pin on the 

body is engaged between the teeth of the Baseplate.

4.  Press the Angle Adjustment Lever closed 

to lock the Baseplate in place.
