Instructions for Putting into Use

TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM 

ACCIDENTAL OPERATION: Release Trigger and 

unplug the tool from its electrical outlet before 

assembling or making any adjustments to the tool.

Installing 3 IN. Cutting Wheel

1.  Before installing cutting wheel, review 

the warnings on pages 2 to 7.

2.   The Cutting Wheel MUST be:

•  rated to at least 22,000 RPM.

•  no larger than 3 IN. in diameter.

•  fitted with a 3/8 IN. round arbor hole.

•  proven undamaged by visual inspection.

3.  Use Wrench (38) to hold Spindle (5) in place 

while using Hex Key (39) to remove Screw (2) 

and Flange (3).  See 

Figure A

, below.

4.  Insert Cutting Wheel (4) onto Spindle. Use Wrench 

to hold Spindle in place. Then insert Bolt through 

Flange and through Cutting Wheel and into Spindle. 

Secure Wheel to the Spindle by tightening Bolt.
