ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: For additional references to the parts listed in the following pages, refer to the
Assembly Diagram on page 19.
To Install A Battery:
1.
NOTE: The Generator requires the installation of a 12 volt, battery
(not included).
The battery must be no larger than 5” wide x 7-3/4” long x 8-1/2” high.

WARNING! Battery fluid leakage may occur under extreme usage or tem-
perature conditions. If battery fluid comes in contact with skin, wash with soap
and water and rinse with lemon juice and vinegar. If the fluid comes into contact
with the eyes, flush with water for several minutes and contact a doctor immedi-
ately. Never burn a battery, as it can explode in a fire. Do not use the Generator
with a leaking battery. Contact local solid waste authorities for instructions on
correct disposal or recycling of a battery.

Carefully place a fully charged, 12 volt battery on the Battery Holder located in
the lower right corner of the Generator. (See Figure D, next page.)
4.
The Engine has
two power cables that must be connected to the battery. Con-
nect the cable with the RED (+ POSITIVE) terminal to the (+ POSITIVE)
terminal on the battery. Connect the cable with the BLACK (- NEGATIVE)
terminal to the (- NEGATIVE) terminal on the battery.
