1.  Plug the Line Cord into the electrical outlet, or into an approved extension cord.
2.  Grasp the Handle with one hand, and the body with the other hand.
 

The Angle Grinder must be used with the Guard in between you and the grinding 

wheel. If may be necessary to loosen, rotate, and retighten the Guard to achieve this 

position.

3.  Press down on the Trigger (3).
 

The motor will start. Allow the motor to attain full speed before grinding.

4.  For cutting or grinding, approach the material at an angle between 15 and 30 degrees 

to the wheel. Maintain that angle until the cutting is complete.

 

Let the wheel do the work. Never apply too much pressure.

5.  Optionally, to lock the Trigger in the ON position, slide the Trigger tab back.
6.  When finished working, let go of the Trigger to turn it OFF.
 

If the Trigger was locked ON, press the Trigger in to unlock it, and the let go, turning 

the unit OFF.

7.  Hold the tool with both hands until the motor stops, then set it down.

Maintenance

1.  Periodically blow out the motor air vents with compressed air to keep clean.
2.  All plastic parts should be cleaned with a clean damp cloth. 
 

Never use solvents.

3.  Over time, if the performance of the tool diminishes, or it stops working completely, it 

may be necessary to replace the motor’s Carbon Brush Assembly (8, 19, 1, and 20).

 

This procedure must be completed by a qualified technician.

4.  When not in use, store the Angle Grinder in it’s metal box and store in a clean and dry 

location (away from the hands of children).

5.  Under normal operating conditions, lubrication is not required.
