Transfer Rodless (Figure 7-65, 1)
Adjust the air flow to smoothly but
quickly move the transfer clamps
forward and backward.
Transfer Clamp (Figure 7-65, 2)
Adjust both the left and right transfer
clamp air cylinders to open and close the
transfer clamps at the same time and at
the same speed.
Lower Spreader Belt Push (Figure
7-66)
Adjust both the left and right spreader
belt push air cylinders to open and close
the spreader belts at the same time and
at the same speed. This will provide a
smoother and more consistent spreading
and lay down of the linen.
In all cases, make sure each operates smoothly
without banging at either end of its travel.

NOTE: The adjustment is a little
counter-intuitive. In each case, the
air flow into B is pushing the rod
out, but controlling the exhaust
flow through A is the key to
controlling rod speed.
Required Tools
thin slotted screwdriver
Perform only when the unit is OFF
with power connected.
Use extreme caution.
Locate the exhaust flow controls on the
cylinder to be adjusted (Figures 7-64 to
7-66). In each case:
The control labeled A determines how
quickly and forcefully the air cylin-
der rod moves out from the cylinder
body.
The control labeled B determines how
quickly and forcefully the air cylinder
rod moves into the cylinder body.
Turn ON the compressed air supply to
the unit.
Press the green START button.
Make sure all STATION buttons on the
CHI Panel are off and the panel displays
reads:
FEEDER OFF
