REAR SEATS
Folding the Rear Seatbacks
Caution
Do not stack the luggage or other
cargo to a height that is higher than
the front seats.
Do not let passengers to sit on the
folded seatbacks while the vehicle is
moving.
When braking suddenly or in an
accident, unsecured passengers or
cargo on the folded seatbacks could
be impacted inside the vehicle or
ejected from the vehicle, resulting in
serious injuries.

To fold the left and right rear seatbacks
for much more rear compartment space:
1. Pull the release knob on the top of
the rear seabacks.
2. Fold the rear seatbacks forward. It
may need to move the front seats
forward slightly to leave more
space, and then they can be put
down horizontally.
To fold the rear seatbacks to their
original position:
1. Lift the rear seatbacks to push them
to their original position and then
lock the seatbacks. Be sure the
safety belt is out of the way.
2. Pull the seatbacks forward again to
make sure they are locked firmly.
Caution
When the rear seats are occupied,
make sure that the rear seatbacks are
in the rearmost position and locked
before driving.
Do not pull the release knob on top of
the seatbacks while the vehicle is
moving.

Warning
Fasten your safety belt each time
before driving. In case of an
accident, passengers not wearing
safety belts may be injured.
The safety belt is designed to be used by
one passenger at a time. Check
regularly all the parts of the safety belt
system for damage or malfunction and
replace the damaged parts.
In the event of an accident, contact
your CHEVROLET retailer to replace
the safety belts.
