Engine Air Cleaner/Filter

“VORTEC” 2200 L4 Engine

“VORTEC” 4300 V6 Engine

See “Engine Compartment Overview” in the Index for
more information on location.

To remove either engine air cleaner/filter, do the following:

1. Remove the fasteners that hold the cover on.

2. Remove the cover and lift out the engine air cleaner/filter.

3. Insert a new air filter.

4. Reinstall the engine air cleaner/filter cover.

Tighten the fasteners to hold the cover in place.
