 ELECTRIC KETTLE

Your appliance is fitted (inside the spout) with a scale filter that prevents scale

particles ending up in your beverage.
1.  Open the lid and hold the kettle  in an upright position to fill it with water. Make sure to

fill in the MIN amount of water (0.5L) to avoid overheating.

Info:

The kettle can also be filled with water when the lid is closed by filling it through

the spout.

2. Close the lid.
3. Place the kettle onto the base and make sure it properly fits onto the contact unit.
4. Connect it to the mains and switch on the water kettle by pressing the On/Off switch.

The integrated indicator light lights up.

5. During the heating process the temperature display will indicate the resp.

water temperature.

6. Once the boiling temperature is reached (default setting is 100°C), the appliance

switches off automatically provided that you have thoroughly closed the lid. Otherwise

boiling water could spill. Danger of serious burns! The indicator light switches off as

well.

Note:

The boiling temperature can vary b/- 3°C.

7.  Lift the kettle off the base. The water is now ready for use.

Note:

You can switch off the appliance resp. stop the boiling process any time by

simply pushing the On/Off switch upwards or by removing the kettle from the base.

In order for the heating element to cool down, wait for approx. 20 seconds before

switching on the appliance again.

Attention:

The appliance is getting very hot during operation. Therefore, do not touch

the appliance during and/or immediately after operation. Only use the handle. Danger

of serious burns!
Water left over from a previous boiling cycle can be re-used in the next boiling cycle.

However, always make sure that the water level is not too low.
During the cooling down process, the temperature indicator will show the actual

temperature of the water.
Always unplug the appliance after use.
