OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1.  The 64 oz. Chef-Built Commercial Power Blender Tritan

®

 Jar is equipped with

fixed stainless-steel blades that require no assembly.

2.

Place the motor base on a flat, clean, dry counter top or table, away from

flammable materials.

3.  Make sure the unit is unplugged. Check to make sure the ON/OFF (I/O) switch on

the side of the motor base is in the OFF (O) position.

4.  Place the jar on the motor base so that the jar coupler and motor coupler are

aligned and engaged.

IMPORTANT:

Make sure the jar is properly fitted onto the motor base before

adding food for blending.

5.  Add food to be processed to the jar.

WARNING:

When blending, foods or liquids tend to expand and rise up the side

of the jar. To avoid personal injury, leakage or damage to the Power Blender,

DO NOT FILL JAR WITH FOOD PAST THE MAX FILL LINE.

6.

Place the lid on top of the jar and press firmly to seal. To avoid spills, make sure

the lid is secure and the lid cap is in place before operation.

7.  Plug the power cord into a 120V AC 3-prong electrical outlet.
8.  This appliance has two speed settings, HIGH (=) at upper position and LOW (-) at

lower position.  Press the rocker switch to the desired position.

9.

When finished blending, set rocker switch back to STANDBY position in the center.

10.  This appliance is equipped with a momentary PULSE option.  Hold the rocker

switch down to engage PULSE function.  Unit will run on HIGH (=) speed until the

rocker switch is released.

IMPORTANT:

Always hold jar with one hand when starting and while blending.

11.  CAUTION:

Pay close attention while processing. Never operate the Power

Blender when the jar is empty, except when SANITIZING. (See SANITIZE & DRY

CONTAINER section.)

12.  TO CRUSH ICE: Blend continuously on HIGH (=). Check contents. If necessary,

add liquid and continue to process until all cubes are reduced to the desired

consistency.

IMPORTANT:

Always hold jar with one hand when starting and while crushing ice.

13.  When blending is complete, press the ON/OFF (I/O) switch to OFF (O).
14.  Allow the motor to come to a complete STOP before removing jar from the motor

base.
