NSTALLING

NTENNAS
Choosing
the
correct
location
for
the
GNSS
antenna
is
critical
to
the
installation.
Poor
or
incorrect
placement
of
the
antenna
can
influence
accuracy
and
reliability
and
may
result
in
degraded
performances
normal
operation.
Follow
these
guidelines
to
select
the
antenna
location:
•
If
the
application
is
mobile
/
kinematic,
place
the
antenna
on
a
flat
surface
along
the
centerline
of
the
vehicle.
•
Choose
an
area
with
open
view
to
the
sky
and
far
from
metallic
objects.
•
Avoid
areas
with
high
vibration,
excessive
heat,
electrical
interference
or
strong
magnetic
fields.
•
Avoid
mounting
the
antenna
close
to
electrical
cables,
metal
masts
and
generally
close
to
other
antennas.
