guarantee that there will be someone for you to talk to the moment you call.
You can also register support queries via the helpdesk on our website. The helpdesk is
monitored both in Europe and the US during working hours.
The Experience
The customer experience using the driver is exactly the same as using the native
Control4 iPod dock.
You can browse music via Artist, Album, Playlist etc.
Once a track is playing the driver will retrieve the cover art from the iPod and then
display this on the Now Playing screen.
Installing the Driver
The driver installs in the Control4 project as an iPod dock.
Copy the driver files
The package contains a single driver for the iPod dock. You must copy this file to your
My Documents - Control4 - Drivers folder on your PC.
Add the driver to your project
First you need to add the iPod dock driver to
your project.
This is found under
iPod manufacturer Extra
Vegetables . You need to bring in a copy of
this driver for each iPod dock you have in the
property.
This will then appear in the system design as
an iPod dock as shown above.
Making Connections
Switch to the Connections part of Composer in order to see the connections for the
device.
