Removing Mineral deposits
To keep your coffee maker operating efficiently you need to clan away the mineral deposits left by
the water regularly.
1.
Fill the water tank with water and descaler to the maximum level in the gauge of coffee
maker (the scale of water and descaler is 4:1, the detail referes to instruction of descaler).
Use only household descaler.
2.
Plae the carafe on the keeping warm plate, make sure that the centre line of carafe alighns
with that of brew basket.
3.
Press the ON/auto/OFF button once and the indicator in it will be illuminated red. After a
while, water will drop out automatically.
4.
After percolate the equivalent of one cup, switch of the appliance by pressing the ON/auto/
OFF button twice. The indicator in it will be illuminated in blue and it will be extinguished
after 15 seconds.
5.
Leavre the solution to work for 15 minutes, then repeat steps 3-5 again.
6.
Turn the appliance on by pressing the ON/auto/OFF button once and run off the water until
the water tank is completely empty.
7.
Rince by operating the appliance with water for at least 3 times.
Hints for Great tasting Coffee
• A clean coffee maker is essential for making great tasing coffee. Regularly clean the coffee
maker as specified in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section of this user manual.

Always use fresh, cold waterr when brewing.
•
Store unused coffee powder in a cold, dry place. After opening a package of coffee powder,
reseal it tightly and store in a refrigerator to maintain its freshness.

For optimal coffee taste, buy whole coffee beans and grind them right before use.
•
Do not reuse coffee powder since this will greatly reduce the flavour of the coffee. Reheating
coffee is not recommended as coffee is at its peak flavour right after brewing.
• Clean the coffee maker when over-extraction causes oiliness. Small oil droplets on the surface
are due to extraction of oil from coffee powder when brewing.
• Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily roasted coffee is used.
