Warning

Risk of electric shock, this pump is supplied with a
grounding conductor and grounding type attachment plug. Connect only
to a grounded, grounding type receptacle. Use of ground fault circuit
interrupter (GFCI) receptacle is recommended.
Do not
cut off grounding pin or use extension cord.
Do not
stand in or touch water while plugging the pump in or during use.
The CPU16 is thermally protected and will automatically shut off if
reaching an overheat level. The pump will reset once cooled and
continue to pump. Once water level reaches 1/8” lev
el, unplug pump.
Make sure discharge hose is free from kinks or obstructions.
Keep strainer free from debris.
Pump comes with snap on bottom strainer, if needed, removal allows
pumping down to 1/8” level. Do no
t set in mud, cement, wood chips or
silty areas.
Pump is designed for mainly clear water.
Do Not Pump Flammable
Liquids or Chemicals.
Do not disassemble pump. Voids warranty.
Maximum liquid temperature should not exceed 104 F.
Pump has not been investigated for use in swimming pool areas.
Simple to Operate

Connect to discharge to standard garden hose of 25’ or less is optimal,
more will start to reduce pumping performance. Direct discharge to
drain or away from water source.
▪
Place pump into water with strainer covered with water.
