Installation of Inverter

For best operating results the inverter should be placed on a solid, level flat
surface and well ventilated, such as the floor of the vehicle. For safety, DO
NOT place on, or under seats.

The following points should be noted:

Do not allow water to drip or splash onto the Inverter.

Ambient air temperature should be between 10˚ and 27˚ C. Do not

place the inverter on or near a heating vent or any equipment which is
generating heat above room temperature. Do not place the inverter in
direct sunlight.

Allow at least 30mm of clearance around the inverter to allow airflow.

Do not place items over the inverter, and ensure that air is allowed to
circulate freely round the unit.

Do not use the inverter near flammable materials or in any location,

which may accumulate flammable fumes or gases, such as the battery
compartment of your vehicle.

Also do not mount the Inverter where it will be exposed to the gases

produced by the battery. These gases are very corrosive and
prolonged exposure also will damage the Inverter.

Do not install the Inverter in a dusty environment there is dust, wood

particles or other filings/shavings are present. These dusts can be
pulled into the unit when the cooling fan is operating.

When the inverter is not supplying power to an appliance, it’s

recommended to turn off the inverter to save your batteries since it still
draws a small amount of current in the “no load” condition.

WARNING!

Make sure all the DC connections

are tight. Loose connections could result in
overheating which is a potential hazard.
