Προειδοποιήσεις για τον εγκαταστάτη

Αυτή η συσκευή χρησιμεύει για την παραγωγή ζεστού νερού για 
οικιακή χρήση. 
Πρέπει να είναι συνδεδεμένη σε μια εγκατάσταση θέρμανσης και σε 
ένα δίκτυο διανομής ζεστού νερού, κατάλληλα για τις επιδόσεις και 
την ισχύ της. 
Απαγορεύεται οποιαδήποτε άλλη χρήση πέραν της προβλεπόμενης. 
Ο κατασκευαστής δεν μπορεί σε καμία περίπτωση να θεωρηθεί 
υπεύθυνος για ζημιές που προκύπτουν από εσφαλμένη χρήση ή από 
τη μη τήρηση των οδηγιών που περιέχονται σε αυτό το βιβλίο. 
Η εγκατάσταση, η συντήρηση και οποιαδήποτε άλλη επέμβαση 
πρέπει να πραγματοποιούνται σύμφωνα με τα ισχύοντα πρότυπα 
και τις υποδείξεις που παρέχονται από τον κατασκευαστή. Ο 
κατασκευαστής δεν φέρει καμία ευθύνη σε περίπτωση τραυματισμών 
ατόμων ή ζώων ή υλικών ζημιών λόγω εσφαλμένης εγκατάστασης 
της συσκευής.
Σε περίπτωση βλάβης και/ή εσφαλμένης λειτουργίας, σβήστε τη 
συσκευή και κλείστε τη βάνα του αερίου. Μην προσπαθήσετε να την 
επισκευάσετε μόνοι σας, καλέστε έναν εξειδικευμένο επαγγελματία. 
Πριν από οποιοδήποτε επέμβαση συντήρησης/επισκευής του 
λέβητα, διακόψτε την ηλεκτρική τροφοδοσία τοποθετώντας τον 
εξωτερικό διπολικό διακόπτη του λέβητα στη θέση «OFF». 
Για οποιαδήποτε επισκευή, καλέστε έναν εξειδικευμένο επαγγελματία 
και απαιτήστε τη χρήση γνήσιων ανταλλακτικών. Η μη τήρηση των 
παραπάνω ενδέχεται να θέσει σε κίνδυνο την ασφάλεια της συσκευής 
και απαλλάσσει τον κατασκευαστή από κάθε ευθύνη.
Σε περίπτωση εργασιών ή συντήρησης σε κατασκευές που βρίσκονται 
κοντά στους αγωγούς ή τις διατάξεις εκκένωσης καπνού και τα 
αξεσουάρ τους, σβήστε τη συσκευή τοποθετώντας τον εξωτερικό 
διπολικό διακόπτη στη θέση OFF και κλείνοντας τη βάνα του αερίου. 
Αφού ολοκληρωθούν οι εργασίες, ζητήστε από έναν επαγγελματία 
να ελέγξει την καλή κατάσταση των αγωγών και των διατάξεων. 
Για τον καθαρισμό των εξωτερικών τμημάτων, σβήστε το λέβητα και 
τοποθετήστε τον εξωτερικό διακόπτη στη θέση «OFF».
Καθαρίστε με ένα πανί εμποτισμένο σε διάλυμα νερού με σαπούνι. 
Μη χρησιμοποιείτε διαβρωτικά απορρυπαντικά, εντομοκτόνα ή 
τοξικά προϊόντα. Για σίγουρη και οικολογική λειτουργία και οικονομία 
ενέργειας, φροντίζετε να τηρείτε τους ισχύοντες κανονισμούς. Σε 
περίπτωση χρήσης κιτ ή προαιρετικών εξοπλισμών, συνιστάται να 
χρησιμοποιείτε μόνο αυθεντικά προϊόντα.

Προειδοποιήσεις πριν την εγκατάσταση

Πριν συνδέσετε το λέβητα, είναι απαραίτητο να: 
•  αποφεύγετε την εγκατάσταση της συσκευής σε περιοχές όπου 

ο αέρας καύσης περιέχει υψηλά ποσοστά χλωρίου (περιβάλλον 
τύπου πισίνας), και/ή άλλα επιβλαβή προϊόντα όπως η αμμωνία 
(κομμωτήριο), τα αλκαλικά μέσα (χώρος πλύσης)...

•  Ελέγξτε το κατά πόσο ο λέβητας μπορεί να λειτουργήσει με το 

διαθέσιμο τύπο αερίου (διαβάστε τις οδηγίες που αναφέρονται 
στην ετικέτα της συσκευασίας και στην πινακίδα όπου αναφέρονται 
τα χαρακτηριστικά του λέβητα)

•  Βεβαιωθείτε, από τις ετικέτες που βρίσκονται στη συσκευασία 

και στην πινακίδα σήμανσης πάνω στη συσκευή, ότι ο λέβητας 

Advice for the installer

This appliance is designed to produce hot water for domestic use.
It must be connected to a heating system and a distribution network 
for domestic hot water, both of which must be compatible with the 
appliance’s performance and power levels.
It is strictly forbidden to use the appliance for purposes other than 
those specifi ed. The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any 
damage due to improper, incorrect or unreasonable use or due to 
failure to comply with the indications outlined in this manual.
Installation, maintenance and all other interventions must be 
carried out in full conformity with current legal regulations and any 
instructions provided by the manufacturer.
Incorrect installation can harm persons or animals and damage 
possessions; the manufacturer shall not be held liable for any 
damage in such cases.
In the event of faults and/or malfunctions, switch the appliance off  
and shut off  the gas valve. Do not attempt to perform any repairs 
yourself but contact a qualifi  ed professional instead.
Prior to performing any maintenance or repair work on the boiler, 
make sure you have disconnected it from the electricity supply by
switching the external bipolar switch to the “OFF” position.
Any repairs must be carried out by a qualifi ed professional using 
original spare parts only.
Failure to comply with the above-mentioned recommendations may 
jeopardise the appliance’s safety and void the manufacturer’s liability.
In the event of any maintenance or other structural work in the 
immediate vicinity of the ducts or fl ue gas exhaust devices and their 
accessories, turn the appliance off  by switching the external bipolar 
switch to the “OFF” position and shut off  the gas valve.
Once work is completed, ask a qualifi ed technician to check the 
effi

  ciency of the ducting and devices.

Whenever the external parts of the appliance must be cleaned, turn 
the boiler off  and put the external switch to the “OFF” position.
Use a damp cloth soaked in soapy water to clean the appliance.
Do not use aggressive detergents, insecticides or toxic products.
Complying with current legislation allows for operating the appliance 
in a safe, environmentally-friendly and cost-effi

  cient manner.

When using kits or optional accessories, ensure that only original 
CHAFFOTEAUX parts are used.

Before installing the appliance:

•  Avoid installing the appliance in areas where the combustion air 

has high levels of chlorine (e.g. pool areas) and/or other hazardous 
products such as ammonia (e.g. hairdresser’s shops), alkaline 
agents (e.g. dry cleaners), etc. 

•  Make sure that the boiler is equipped for operation with the type 

of gas available (read the information on the packaging label and 
on the boiler data plate).

•  Check the packaging labels and the data plate on the appliance 

to verify whether the boiler is intended for the country where it is 
to be installed, and that the gas category for which the boiler was 
designed is among the categories approved in the country where 
it will be used.

The installation and fi rst ignition of the boiler must be 
performed by qualifi ed personnel in compliance with 
current national regulations regarding installation, 
and in conformity with any requirements established 
by local authorities and public health organisations. 
After the boiler has been installed, the installer must 
ensure that the end user receives the declaration of 
conformity and the operating manual, and should 
provide all necessary information as to how the boiler 
and the safety devices should be handled.

Η εγκατάσταση και η πρώτη θέση σε λειτουργία του 
λέβητα πρέπει να εκτελούνται από εξειδικευμένο 
προσωπικό σύμφωνα με την ισχύουσα εθνική 
νομοθεσία και ενδεχόμενους κανονισμούς των 
τοπικών αρχών και των αρμόδιων φορέων για τη 
δημόσια υγεία.
Μετά την εγκατάσταση του λέβητα ο εγκαταστάτης 
οφείλει να παραδώσει τη δήλωση συμμόρφωσης και 
το εγχειρίδιο χρήσης στον τελικό χρήστη και να τον 
ενημερώσει σχετικά με τη λειτουργία του λέβητα και 
τα συστήματα ασφαλείας.
