Front Brake
The front brake lever is located on the right handlebar and
controls only the front brakes. Pull it toward the handlebar to
apply the front brake. When squeezed, the lever or pedal should
feel firm. Any sponginess would indicate a possible fluid leak or
low master cylinder fluid level, which must be corrected before
riding. Contact your dealer for proper diagnosis and repairs.

Front Brake Fluid Reservoir and Level Indicator
Check the front brake master cylinder fluid level before each
use of the vehicle. The front brake master cylinder is located
on the right handlebar. The fluid level can be viewed through
the indicator window on the side of the master cylinder. If the
fluid level is lower than the “lower”mark, refill with brake fluid as
necessary.
WARNING
An over-full master cylinder may cause brake drag or brake lock-
up, which could result in serious injury or death. Maintain brake
fluid at the recommended level. Do not overfill.
